NEURON BPh owns an enzyme library to develop customized biocatalysts, to improve already existing processes or to design new ones. To achieve a feasible process, some catalytic properties of these enzymes with industrial potential, such as hydroxylases, laccases,phenol oxidases and lipases, must be “tuned”. Using molecular approaches and HTS we can obtain these “talented” biocatalysts quickly and simply.

A specific metabolite production program starts from our Microbe Library.
On the basis of the profile of each strain, we make a fast selection of the best candidate. Once selected, an HTS strain-improvement program is undertaken. Bioprocess optimization is scaled up from a few mL to 20 L.
